Radar was set up in 2006 to inspire, empower and connect people worldwide through music video filmmaking. Radar began as The Radar Festival, a partly live event. Radar Music Videos is what you see here and pretty much all online.
At the time of writing, over 50 directors worldwide have secured paid-for music video commissions by pitching through Radar.
Caroline Bottomley set up RadarMusicVideos.com, based in London. Previously a successful club and gig promoter at The Leadmill in Sheffield, she then secured an MBA and worked in TV documentary and factual production on many award-winning programmes.
Radar is supported by great advisers.
We are extremely appreciative of the abiding good sense, expertise and all-round know-how of Moray Coulter, founder of Productionbase.com and of Kevin Bacon, co-founder of AwalUK
Thanks also to Adam Gee, commissioning editor at Channel 4 for his mentorship during an early period of Radar.
